| Hey people! We have many news for you: First of all we are sorry to tell you that our singer and lead guitarplayer Sturmi decided to quit the band. He can´t offer enough time for the band anymore but we are still good friends! It´s really hard for the rest of the band to say goodbye after yrears of playing concerts and have fun together! Goodbye Sturmi, we nerver forget the times we had!!! Now we are looking for a new singer and guitar player! | SOME NEW STUFF COMIN' UP!!! |
| Hey folks, it’s been a while…! You might be asking, what the fuck we’re doing right now?! Just in case you didn’t catch us on one of our summer shows we played, here we go with some good news for you. GPF is in the studio at this time and we’re working on our new EP, which will hopefully be coming out at the beginning of 2008. We’re also about to plan some new upcoming shows in fall and winter 2007, where we will certainly give you a little foretaste to the new EP. If you can’t wait until our next live-performances to hear some new stuff, there’ll be another possibility for you as well… An unreleased song of us will find its way onto the upcoming „LAUT:LOS“-sampler, whose release is planned for the end of 2007. | Hi, everybody! A dream come true... at least for us! We're on target for the end game of our recordings to the new album '...make my demon leave!" To ease waiting for you during the upcoming few months, in which we'll have our record gotten done, we decided to let you have a tiny foretaste by providing 2 UNMASTERED PREVIEWS OF NEW STUFF!!! You can find them on our MySpace-Profile under GPF - general protection fault We put two previews of our new songs there to be listened to, namely "Endin' up evilly" and "Make my demon leave". We hope you'll like the new stuff, it's more powerful and though coltish, slightly turning more attention to agressivity and scream vocals... but nevertheless, STILL GPF! ;-) Make up your opinion yourselves and let us have some feedback if you like to. | Hallo, zusammen! Alsdann, die Katze ist aus dem Sack... Es hat in letzter Zeit ja schon diverse Gerüchte darum gegeben, dass GPF und unser bisheriger Bassist, Gerry, künftig getrennte Wege gehen. Nun ist es hiermit offiziell bestätigt!! Nach langjähriger, guter Zusammenarbeit haben nun zeitliche Unvereinbarkeiten dazu geführt, dass eine intensive, gemeinsame Zusammenarbeit nicht mehr möglich war. Im Einvernehmen haben wir somit unseren Entschluss gefasst! Aus diesem Grund suchen wir nun einen motivierten und flexiblen Nachfolger am Bass, bevorzugt aus dem Raum Wiener Neustadt. Banderfahrung, eventuell auch Live, wäre natürlich von Vorteil. GPF-Proben finden 2-3 mal pro Woche statt, der Proberaum ist in Steinabrückl. Derzeit steht für uns gerade die Fertigstellung der Aufnahmen zum neuen Album im Vordergrund! Etwa Anfang 2006 planen wir wieder Live-Gigs. | Wie die Zeit vergeht... |
| Hi, alle beisammen! Kaum eine Woche seit dem Skatepark-Opening und schon steht die nächste Show am Programm. Ende Oktober findet in Wiener Neustadt ein Benefizfestival zu Gunsten von afrikanischen Mitmenschen statt (siehe 'upcoming shows') - wir freuen uns schon!! Gute Sache - guter Zweck! Mit dem neuen Album geht's auch voran, zumindest sollte es das! Derzeit sieht's aber eher so aus, als würde ein "GPF-Krankenstand" eintreten... :-/ Wir bleiben jedenfalls am Ball und hoffen, ihr auch! | ... und was war das doch für eine geniale Show, die sich dort abgespielt hat!!! Einige Pictures von dem Event sind bereits in der Gallery online!! Danke an alle Verantwortlichen, die das möglich gemacht haben, an alle, die gekommen sind, um mächtig Stimmung zu machen, und auch an alle aktiven BMX- und Skate-Pros - allen voran Senad Grosic -, die eine würdige Einstandsfeier für diesen neuen Park geboten haben. Für uns wars jedenfalls ein Vergnügen, unseren Beitrag dazu leisten zu können, und der liebe Wettergott hat es auch sehr gut mit diesem Event gemeint - gerade noch!!!
